Binance API management update
Binance will delete your API key if no purchase or sale transaction is made for 30 days.
If this is also the case with you, then you have received an email from us stating that the API key does not work and for which traders this applies.
What happened: Binance sees your API key as a 'security risk' if you have not made a transaction for 30 days. If you meet that standard, they will remove the API key.
How can you fix that:
You log in to Binance and choose the menu API management (top right of your screen in a drop-down menu).
Choose “Create API”
Choose "System generated" and then "Next"
After that you need to label your API: for example "BitBrokerTrade" and then "Next".
Then you have to enter an email code and your authenticator code to prove it's you.
Press “edit restrictions” and check “Enable Spot & Margin Trading”.
Click on “Save”.
Message appears: “Permission Expired”.
Click on “Confirm”
Enter your authenticator code. Your keys will now appear on the screen. Leave this screen open, because as soon as you close this screen the "secret key" will be made invisible. Do not close the screen until you have copied both keys to BitBrokerTrade exchange settings.
Now go to BitBrokerTrade and log in there:
Go to menu “Settings” and then to “Exhibitions”
You can see in the menu which API is not active.
Click on the edit button (green pen) and the API menu opens.
Enter the API Key and the Binance Secret Key here and choose “save” In the menu you can see that the exchange is “active” again. The connection has been restored.
