To let BitBrokerTrade trade through your Binance account, create an API key in Binance API Management and add it to BitBrokerTrade. Work through the three parts below to complete the connection.
After you create an API key, Binance sends a confirmation email. Click the confirmation link in that email before you add the exchange in BitBrokerTrade. If you use 2FA via Google Authenticator, there is no confirmation email and you can continue right away.

Part 1: Create an API key in Binance

1

Open API Management

Log in to binance.com and click your account name in the top right (shown as your initials). From the dropdown menu, choose “API Management”.
2

Create a new label

Under “Label API key to proceed”, enter a name for your key, for example BitBrokerTrade. Then click “Create API”.
3

Set permissions

Set the API restrictions so that reading and trading are allowed. Make sure that withdrawals are not enabled. Use the Copy button to copy the API key to your clipboard. Paste it into a notepad. Do the same with the API secret.
4

Activate the confirmation email

Binance sends a confirmation email. Open the email and click the activation link. Do you use Google Authenticator as 2FA? Then you can skip this step.

Part 2: Add the exchange in BitBrokerTrade

1

Navigate to Exchanges

Log in to BitBrokerTrade. In the left column, click Settings, then Exchanges, and then Add exchange.
2

Select Binance

Click the Binance logo to select Binance as the exchange.
3

Fill in the details

In the Name field, enter Binance. Then paste the previously copied API key and API secret into the matching fields.
4

Set a reserved amount (optional)

Do you want to keep part of your balance out of the trader? Enable “Reserved amount” and enter the amount in euros. The trader will never use this amount.
5

Add the exchange

Check that you have completed the confirmation email (or 2FA). Then click Add. The connection is now active.
Reserved amount, how does it work? Say you have €1,000 on Binance and you reserve €250. The trader will then only work with €750. The €250 always stays available on your euro account at Binance.

Part 3: Connect a trader

Now that the exchange has been added, the next step is to connect a trader to your Binance account. Follow the full guide on Trader settings.
