Part 1: Create an API key in Coinbase

Open Advanced API
Log in to coinbase.com and click “More” in the left menu bar. On the same screen, choose the “Advanced API” option.

Start the new key flow
Click “Create your API key” and then “Create API key” on the next screen.

Configure the key in the pop-up
In the pop-up window, set the following:
- Name: give the key a recognizable name
- Portfolio: choose
default - Permissions: check View and Trade
- IP Whitelist: leave the field empty, the pre-filled address is a placeholder IP and does not need to be removed

Save the keys
A pop-up appears with your two keys: the API Key and the API Secret Key. Copy both to your notepad. You do not need to do anything with the downloaded
.json file.5
Confirm
Click “I have saved my key” to close the pop-up.
Part 2: Add the exchange in BitBrokerTrade

Navigate to Exchanges
Log in to BitBrokerTrade. In the left column, click Settings, then Exchanges, and then Add exchange.

Select Coinbase Advanced
Click the Coinbase Advanced logo to select this exchange.

Fill in the details and add
Enter the copied API Key and API Secret Key in the matching fields. Click Add. The connection to Coinbase Advanced is now active.
Coinbase does not require a confirmation email. The connection is active immediately after clicking Add, as long as the keys are entered correctly.
