Guide to link Kucoin to your BitBrokerTrade account

Create an account with Kucoin

If you do not yet have an account with Kucoin, first go to www.kucoin.com and choose to create a login.

What you need: Working email address, Passport, Mobile phone, Phone number and the Google Authenticator app.

After you have created the login and completed the KYC process (KYC = Know Your Client), you can fund your spot balance. Please note that BitBrokerTrade works from your available Euro balance.

Create API key in Kucoin

In the home screen you choose the personal icon at the top right of the screen and in the drop-down screen you choose API

Then choose "Create API"

In the next screen, give the API a name and create a password. Check the two sections "Spot trading" and "No Limit" and click "Next"

In the next popup screen your API keys will be shown. Copy this to your notepad: you will need it later in BitBrokerTrade to make the link. This also applies to your made-up API password.

You are now finished with the API process at Kucoin.

Close Kucoin and go to BitBrokerTrade

Go to the Settings/Exchanges menu and choose the "Add Exchange" button.

Select “Kucoin”

Enter the API keys you copied to your notepad, enter the API password and then choose "Add".

The API connection is immediately tested and the status becomes "active".

The next step is to activate a trader for the Kucoin environment.
